This class will be taught over 4 meetings, 3 hours per meeting.
This class offers advanced-beginner and intermediate sewists an opportunity to gain experience assembling a garment while developing specific skills like making a tidy pointed collar, attaching sleeves, and felling seams.
The class is not recommended for stone-cold beginners. It is for people who are comfortable with their machine, capable of sewing straight and curved seams, and so on.
Pattern will be provided.
Homework: Plan on some cutting and sewing between classes.
Dates: Saturdays in August- the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th
Time: 12:00-3:00

Suffolk Puffs and Yoyos-Make A Brooch/Pin
Suffolk Puffs/Yoyos are traditionally sewn together to make quilts. In this class, you will learn how to make them by recycling fabric scraps and creating a brooch. You will also look at other, more contemporary applications

Wish you knew how to make adorable wool sculptures? Needle felting is a creative outlet that requires no sewing, no counting and no measuring. In just a couple hours, you’ll have the skills to make woolly treasures from your imagination!
Please bring ideas for an ornament-sized project you would like to make. There will also be many inspirational projects from which to choose.
This 3-hour beginner felt-along class includes all tools and a generous supply of colorful wool. You only need to bring your sense of humor!
